Will You Pay For News Online? Rupert Murdoch Says You Will

For those of you supporting Murdoch's idea of charging for the news you get online, let me ask you: Do you really want people like Rupert Murdoch controlling what news you can read? That's what is really at stake here. Controlling the news.

Many of Murdoch's supporters are saying that the quality of news available on the Internet would be better if you had to pay for it. Just because you paid for it, would you really trust Murdoch to give you accurate and unbiased news? You know, fair and unbiased...like the kind you now get with Fox News.
Without checks and balances, people like Murdoch would have us all become ignorant ultra-conservative slugs.

Personally, I think that if Murdoch starts charging for news on the Internet, the majority of people will start seeing a whole lot less of Fox News. Hey! Wait a minute! That's not such a bad idea. Hmmm. Maybe I should rethink this.

Seriously though, Ask yourself this: Do you really think that Murdoch and his kind have your best interests at heart? Even if you pay for it? Would you also trust Adolph Hitler? Dick Cheney? George W. Bush? Kenneth Lay, Pee Wee Herman?
